One DirectionOne Direction have announced a world tour for 2014 - and the boys can't wait to see beauties in thongs in Brazil. The band - Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson - are going to play a series of mammoth stadium shows across the globe but they are most excited about going to the South America country because it has beaches packed with bikini-clad babes.

Announcing their Where We Are tour at London's Wembley Stadium today, Liam said, "There's a fact here, thongs are common place [in Brazil]. So I think that's something to look forward to. We can't wait, Brazil's an amazing place."

Niall added, "And they're big into carnivals out there so we'll be partying with the Brazilians."

The "Live While We're Young" hitmakers are also keen to check out the sights of Peru when they play there. "We'll try the food and appreciate the women - and the culture," Louis said.

Daft PunkDaft Punk have no plans to tour Random Access Memories. The French electronic duo - Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo - are set to release their fourth studio album next week and although their 2013 comeback has already received rave reviews, they don't believe they can bring the record to life on stage.

When asked about the possibility of a tour by BBC Radio 1's Zane Lowe, they said, "We're not interested in touring right now for a few reasons. We have just spent five years working on this record trying to bring life back to the art of recording."

It seems even their family are keen for them to take their LP around the globe, with manager and unofficial third member Paul Hahn admitting he often gets nagged about the group's plans. "My mum asks me every day if we're going on tour. Everybody does. We have been very inspired to do something in the live performance space, but for us right now we're very concentrated on the launch and getting this music out to people in a way that's positive. We want this album to have a cultural and artistic impact," he told Billboard.

Beyonce in concertBeyonce has cancelled her concert in Belgium tonight. The "Grown Woman" singer was due to take the stage at the Sportpaleis arena in Antwerp this evening for the latest date on her Mrs. Carter Show World Tour, but she has pulled out of the gig citing dehydration and exhaustion.

The 31-year-old star - who began her tour in Serbia last month - will not be able to perform and is under strict doctor's orders to rest, her publicist has confirmed. The concert will be rescheduled and Belgian fans who were eager to see the singer perform will have their tickets honored at a later date.

A second show due to take place at the same venue tomorrow night is now also in doubt, with the publicist stating that Beyonce "is awaiting word from her doctors before making a decision."

Rumors began circulating earlier this week that Beyonce is expecting her second child following her appearance at the Met Ball in New York City last week, where the star's alleged pregnancy was the talk of the night amongst the A-list crowd.

Lana Del Rey on the cover of 'Fashion'Despite the 3.4 million copies of her Born to Die album sold and critical acclaim accompanying it, Lana Del Rey recently opened up to Fashion magazine about her struggles with negative remarks about her work.

"If you are born an artist, you have no choice but to fight to stay an artist. I feel like my work’s important, but I don’t always feel like I get respect for it…when I feel like people don’t like [my] music and that the 10 years I spent making what I made was not for a good reason, that makes me want to drink again," said the 27 year-old, who overcame teenage alcoholism 8 years ago and has since remained sober.

Styled in her typical vintage glam with bright red lipstick to boot, the New York City native pointed out that she yearns for the respect of her music industry peers: Feeling like you’re respected among the people who do the same thing you do is incredible and necessary... All that stuff about whatever doesn’t kill you makes you stronger is so not true. Do you know what makes you stronger? When people treat you and your art with dignity."

Mariah CareyMariah Carey feels there is a "lot of pressure" on her new album. The diva released comeback track "#Beautiful," featuring Miguel, on Monday and is racing to complete her eleventh studio album in time for summer.

Taking about a release date, she told radio host Ryan Seacrest, "Probably we're talking about earlier than mid-summer, which is a lot of pressure on me because I want these last few records to be just as good as the first records I started."

Mariah wrote "#Beautiful" with Miguel and was impressed with how in tune with each other they both were in the studio. "We got together, he had starting writing this song with just the guitar riff. And I have to say this about him as a collaborator, sometimes when you haven't worked with somebody you don't know really what they do in the studio... And if they have the same kind of love for music that I have... And he's the truth. We just wanted to do something different that has a texture that feels fresh," she explained.

Blur at Coachella 2013Blur are starting work on a new album.

The "Parklife" band will work on their first record since 2003's Think Tank - which didn't include guitarist Graham Coxon - after having to pull out of some dates in their current tour.

Speaking during a concert at Hong Kong's AsiaWorld-Expo on Sunday singer Damon Albarn said, "We were supposed to play in Taiwan and Japan next week, but due to unforeseen circumstances we weren't able to go there. So we have a week in Hong Kong, so we thought it would be a good time to try and record another record."

After touring Think Tank, Blur - which also includes bass player Alex James and drummer Dave Rowntree - went on hiatus so its members could pursue other projects. They reunited in 2008 and started playing live in 2009. The band then released two tracks, "The Puritan" and "Under the Westway," last year.
